Tremco’s Commercial Sealants and Waterproofing (CS&W) division is currently searching for an Associate Process Engineer to support our Dryvit product line. Dryvit’s position as a leader in high performance systems, materials, and finishes for the construction market is dependent on our ability to innovate new, high performance solutions and as needed redesign product constructions based on changes in markets, competitor offerings, raw materials and manufacturing locations. The Associate Process Engineer is a member of the R&D department with responsibility for providing hands-on research and technical knowledge to implement sustainable new product and process manufacturing practices to support the growth of Dryvit Systems, Inc. This position will be based in West Warwick, RI. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support research projects that deliver business results through data driven decision making Work within cross functional teams to enable new product development project success Execute various project activities in support of a defined product development process Execute experiments to evaluate and optimize performance or process attributes Develop an understanding of process capability and design selection criteria for developed products Maintain proper documentation of technical and experimental activities EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or other closely aligned technical discipline EXPERIENCE: No prior experience or training OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 0-3 Years relevant industrial process experience OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Passion for learning about relevant systems & technologies Ability to develop professional growth through collaboration and mentor relationships Prior research or industrial experience in the form of internships or co-operative education programs Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to their race, color, religion, national origin, sex, protected veteran status or disability.
