The Original Equipment division supports the design, application, development and project management activities for automotive components used by all UK vehicle/engine manufacturers. The Project Management Engineering role gives students the opportunity to work in the Ford customer team for Powertrain Systems, which involves close liaison with our customers and Bosch technical support and manufacturing facilities throughout the world. Job Description Your contribution to something big Working with project management engineers to consolidate test and product release plans Involvement in quality claim process Tracking of prototype orders Involvement in commercial topics i.e. tracking of payments Organisation and involvement in regular customer meetings Preparation of Bosch internal and customer presentations Qualifications What distinguishes you You should be studying for a degree in a relevant discipline e.g. Engineering Excellent communication and written English skills Have a keen interest in the Automotive industry e.g. vehicles and electronic control systems Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, in particular Excel and PowerPoint Self-motivated, enthusiastic and a team player Mobility to allow being based at Basildon Full driving licence and German language skills – beneficial Additional Information Please note that we would like you to start in August 2019 for a 12-month Internship. This position is open to undergraduates who are required to partake in a work placement as part of their degree course.
