The post holder will join a specialist team committed to supporting innovation in learning and teaching and delivering a high-quality experience for our staff and students. Reporting to an academic developer, the role holder will be a motivated individual with a strong background in pedagogy and supporting learning through the application of technologies. The post holder will join a central team of academic developers and digital skills trainers in supporting the University in a transtition from Blackboard 9.1 to Blackboard Ultra and further embedding blended and online learning within programmes. The role holder will demonstrate relevant experience of supporting learning technologies in a higher education context.

The role requires excellent interpersonal, networking and communication skills, the ability to engage academic and professional services staff at every level of the University, and the ability to build and maintain complex relationships with various stakeholders with differing requirements. The post holder will foster productive relationships to embed quality and enhancement at the heart of the University’s learning and teaching activities. Key relationships in the Professional Services will be within the Office and Directorate. In the academic community, key relationships include programme and module leaders.
