Position Summary

The Engineering Intern shall support the facility, specifically Manufacturing Engineering and R&D New Product Development teams to implement new products and support existing processes at the Jaffrey NH facility. This position will run from mid-May through August.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Assist in researching, writing and performing validation protocols. Write document changes and modify procedures in accordance with document change control procedures.
  • Design process improvements based on machine operator input.
  • Sets up, performs experiments, and generates reports and implements findings.
  • Assist in development, research and performance of assigned Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Assist Value Stream team’s with projects/priorities as necessary.
  • Completes work in compliance with GMP and ISO regulations and within safety guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Education / Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Sophmore, Junior, or Senior Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Engineering or Science related field
  • Solidworks mechnical design experience preferred
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word & Excel required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn and accept challenges and adaptable to change
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Ability to solve problems and analyze data
  • Ability to think and work independently and in teams
