Department and Position Overview
Comcast Labs develops proof of concepts and prototypes of products and technologies that are 3-5 years out for Comcast. This position will help develop the software required for these POCs and aid in the research of new technologies.
Job Description
This position will be a software development position - the intern will be required to code on their using technology such as Java, JavaScript, python, AI/ML, Augmented Reality, etc. The position will report to a Principle Engineer and will be responsible for timely code drops and research on new technology and software.
Intern Roles & Responsibilities
Software development using skills such as AI/ML, Computer Vision, Robotics and Drones and Augmented Reality. The engineer will be responsible for working with the senior software and hardware developers to integrate research and POCs into Comcast Labs platforms.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
