The Siemens Oil & Gas internship program provides the opportunities to develop your professional and technical skills, working in a team environment with the guidance of other engineers and industry professionals. By doing so, gaining hands-on experience while working across the different areas of the O&G value chain (upstream, midstream, downstream), as well as liquefied natural gas and unconventional O&G.
The internships available range in the different fields, such as technical sales, proposals, engineering and manufacturing, providing an insight and understanding of working in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary groups in a global company. This opportunity gives you exposure to the different solutions associated to each product line, such as centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, gas turbines and expanders, that comprise some of the most critical equipment in the O&G facilities.
- Actively pursuing a BS or MS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Petroleum, Industrial or related disciplines).
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Global awareness and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Possess a keen awareness and appreciation for internal and external clients.
