Description

The New Technology Intern will provide support to various technical staff. Additionally, they will participate in the research, development and implementation of various manufacturing technologies across company disciplines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with technical documents in various formats, for both Physical Work Instructions and Administrative functioning.
  • Reports to the Director of Technologies and Sr. Applications Engineers, supporting engineering projects, data reporting, technical studies, and research
  • Follow instructions outlining the implementation of various innovative technologies on state of the art industrial equipment.
  • Focus primarily on any application necessary to fully or partially automate operations for manufacturing both new and current components.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment, between both shop floor and office. Currently enrolled or anticipating attending a College Program or Continued Education. Initiative, ownership of job functions, and sense of urgency are central to success in the position. Special Requirements: Self-motivated, proactive, excellent written, and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail, team player.

Required Experience:

Proficiency with MS Office products Excel, Word, and Power Point. Some advanced mathematics required.
