What to Expect:

As a Global Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for researching/documenting global equipment standards (electrical/controls/equipment manufacturers) in several CommScope facilities. You will work closely with Global Manufacturing and local Facility Engineering to categorize and document current manufacturing assets.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Partnering with senior level engineers in documenting equipment controls.
  • Improve existing designs to enhance product performance, quality, and cost.
  • Create and write global controls and equipment specifications.
  • Initiate, execute, review test plans and help determine global controls platforms.

Required Qualifications for Consideration

  • Junior or Senior standing in a BS, BA or master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship from the company

  • Have previous exposure to electronic controls projects in a college curriculum, or previous internship experience with controls hardware and software.
