Seattle Genetics is seeking a talented and motivated summer intern to join our chemistry group. The interns will function as a fully integrated member to help design and develop potential ADC (antibody drug conjugate) payloads and novel drug linker technologies.


  • Design, synthesize and purify new drug linkers and small molecule ADC payloads
  • Perform biological assays to support proof of concept for new technologies
  • Provide oral presentation of results in a group setting


  • Bachelor’s degree in process or recently completed in chemistry, biochemistry, or closely related fields; graduate students may also be considered
  • Taken undergraduate level organic chemistry classes and has introductory laboratory skills
  • Previous working experience in an academic lab setting is preferred
  • Experience with small molecule purifications such as normal or reverse phase chromatography is a plus

Note: This is a paid internship. This position is open to all students legally authorized to work in the United States. We are not able to offer visa sponsorships. While housing is not provided by SeaGen we make every effort to connect fellow interns to arrange for joint housing and ride sharing.
