Due to service expansion, an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Information Analyst has arisen within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team.   The service is progressing towards a robust and comprehensive service; which allows us the opportunity to utilise information and communication technology to monitor and evaluate our work with children, young people and their families, in line with the wider NHS and IT developments. 

Working under the supervision of,  and reporting to the ELCAS BI Lead, you will hold GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above or equivalent level of skill, ideally with a relevant degree qualification with a willingness to learn.  You will have information  experience, preferably in an NHS environment, together with 1 years advanced user knowledge of Excel and/or  Access/SQL.  You must be able to produce statistical reports and have experience of data manipulation.  Good at problem solving, you will also have an attention to detail in order to produce complete and accurate information, have an ability to work in an organised and methodical manner, as well as being able to understand and comply with detailed procedures.

This is a significant post that will has a direct impact on making a difference for the children and young people in our care, therefore it is essential that you have a vision of how appropriately managed clinical and management information can influence practice.

The office base for this post is at Burnley General Hospital, although some travel to Royal Blackburn Hospital will be needed due to the nature of the post.  The Trust has a shuttle bus between sites.
