The Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is a worldwide organization that delivers NAND flash and 3DXP (Optane) memory products for use in Solid State Drives (SSDs), portable memory storage devices, digital camera memory cards, and other devices. The group is responsible for NVM technology design and development, complete Solid State Drive (SSD) system hardware and firmware development, as well as wafer and SSD manufacturing. 

Business Group Employees in Intel's Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group NSG work on non-volatile memory from material science and process research, through component design, manufacturing, ASIC, board, solid state drives and SW solutions. They deliver disruptive solutions that are transforming computing across all segments from Internet Portal Data Centers IPDCs to Consumer Client Devices such as Ultrabooks and Tablets. They invent, develop, bring to market and support customers with leading-edge non-volatile memory products. Our customers include leading cloud service providers CSPs, IPDCs, original equipment manufacturers OEMs, and other leading edge technology companies from around the world. ** The internship length is at least 6 months and up to 1 year

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/ or work experience. 

This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • The candidate must be pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)
  • Minimum 3 months of experience in Programming and or scripting experience with Python, C 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience/knowledge in the following:

  • Storage technologies
  • Data collection
  • Analysis and reporting
  • PCIe/NVMe or SATA serial interfaces and protocols
