Nested within the Hardware UX team, the Human Factors (HF) practice aims to provide hands-on research insights that directly impact design decisions and strategic planning. Our focus is to make sure our portfolio products fit into people’s lifestyle by being accurate, meaningful and comfortable to use. We are passionate about finding out how hardware integrates with the human body. We do that by looking at it through a physical lens (e.g. ergonomics/human factors, anthropometry, biomechanics), we also strive to learn users’ goals, comfort and emotions to help define the products and experiences we create. HF is one of the driving forces behind gathering these insights and then using them to inspire and inform physical and software design. This role will focus on quantitative sensors of users and their environments. We collaborate closely with Engineering and Product Management to create innovative, accurate, reliable, and great-looking products that people love to use. As a skilled, experienced and empathetic Quantitative HF Researcher, you'll have the opportunity to support our practice in developing innovative and accurate products.
