Internship Specifics

The Z Workstations R&D Materials Science Lab is an interactive scientific resource within the Workstations R&D group and services engineering groups throughout HP. These groups include Workstations, Virtual Reality, OMEN gaming, Business Notebook, All-in-One and Desktop computers. The MSL is responsible for electronic and mechanical failure analysis of HP products, quality and reliability testing of systems, the development of new materials (glass, plastic, metal) and ensuring that HP products meet HP’s environmental sustainability requirements. Our interns are involved in all aspects of the lab and will gain proficiency in both engineering and scientific measurement tools.
