Specific responsibilities of this role include:

  • Support development of new materials for high temperature composites
  • Apply physics and materials-based methods for process improvement
  • Develop tools and methods for new processes and data manipulation
  • Support root cause analysis of in-service issues and incorporate lessons learned into improved design standards

Education / Certifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Scienceor related field from an accredited institution.

Experience/Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related field from an accredited institution
  • Must have GPA of 3.0
  • Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with high temperature processes
  • Familiarity with vapor deposition
  • Proficient in materials characterization
  • Ability to effectively communicate
  • Ability to work in teams
