We are looking for a Finance Data Analyst / Master Data Officer to join us here at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, to support the accurate execution of master data updates to SAP and associated systems. This role forms part of a small Master Data Management team, which is part of our Global Business Services function, providing financial services to the organisation. The Global Business Services function is spread across Leeds, Guildford, and Kuala Lumper. 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Ensure customer, employee and supplier master data is entered into SAP from Salesforce and other sources, accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Analyse any mismatches resulting in data mismatches to feed change initiatives.
  • Perform regular reviews of master data to ensure all elements remain valid, and deactivate master data from SAP that is no longer valid.
  • Analyse and report on master data failures and updates.
  • Supporting the Master Data Management team with other tasks as required. 

What we’re looking for 

Essential: 

  • Intermediate Excel skills, including the ability to perform pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, and create formulas to compare data sets.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • An interest in seeking process improvements and delivery excellence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A flexible approach that allows for working in other areas within the organisation. 

Desirable: 

  • Experience within a Finance team, or using SAP, is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of working to agreed SLAs / KPIs in a fast-paced environment.
