The Role

As an Information Security Analyst you will help detect, prevent and manager cyber threats. With a keen interest in technology and cybersecurity, you will implement your knowledge to protect your organisation from cyber threats. You’re an analytical thinker with great attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Your responsibilities in this role may include: 

  • Identify emerging threat patterns using analytic tools
  • Create and upgrade security systems
  • Monitor ‘phishing’ emails and advise colleagues on best practice responses
  • Prepare for disaster recovery in the event of a security breach
  • Investigate security alerts and provide incident response
  • Deliver cyber security awareness training to the wider business
  • Generate reports for stakeholders
  • Provide future recommendations on cyber security policies to stakeholders

What You Need

To join our Development Programme, you will need:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree
  • A-Levels or equivalent to more than 320 UCAS points (pre-2017) or 128 UCAS points (post-2017)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated
