We are looking for a Curriculum Technician to join our busy team at our Welwyn Garden City Campus.
This role will be responsible for preparing safe workspaces and providing the correct equipment and raw materials for each lesson. A strong focus on health and safety is essential to ensure the workshop is an example of best practice
Please note that even though is a non-teaching post, part of the role is to support teachers in their delivery of practical workshop lessons so we are looking for someone with great communication and a friendly outlook to support both the teacher and students.
The successful candidate will be prepared and able to ensure the workshop is safe, clean, highly organised and stocked with all the necessary resources for teaching within the allotted budget. An ability to complete the planned preventative schedule and reactive maintenance within the workshop is essential.
You should have a strong commitment to high standards of workshop practice and have previous experience in the industry and hold a level 2 Mechanical Engineering qualification.
Experience with COSHH and Risk Assessments will be an advantage.
