Your role: you will be responsible for the day to day supervision of GLP operations within a busy department, ensuring the smooth running of all laboratory tasks and supporting the conduct of GLP regulatory studies. Daily tasks will include direct supervision of the laboratory team, scheduling of work, management of documentation workflow, organising staff training & development and ensuring equipment & facilities are maintained to the highest standards. The ability to maintain effective working relationships with the laboratory team, study management, laboratory management and facilities personnel is critical for success in the role. You will also provide direction to employees in accordance with company policies and procedures, working within the laboratory to provide hands-on support, training, guidance and mentorship to the team. You will ensure resources are used effectively to achieve organisational goals and will mentor and develop staff, supporting their ongoing career development. You will actively develop and build a collaborative team through regular communication and feedback, both to the group and on an individual basis.
