We are looking for a motivated young professional who has recently graduated or is looking to make the first move from a role post-graduation. A focus and interest in finance and data analytics are keys to this position. We expect you to be a curious, pro-active team worker that is service oriented and likes to work together with different stakeholders (e.g. finance, marketing, sales, logistics).

You will have a proven track record of relevant internships or first working experience and are willing to develop further into reporting and controlling.

Experience with SAP (e.g. SAP BW/BI) and database management will be an advantage, knowledge of working with reporting/data platforms such as SQL, Power BI etc equally so; or a passion to learn these skills will also be considered

What does the role involve?

In the role your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Contribution towards performance management and lead improvement projects for the region via reporting efficiency and data excellence
  • Business partner in controlling/reporting function with the wider stakeholder group across finance and the business to optimise business steering via value added reporting
  • Act as a consultant / sparring partner to stakeholders when advising on best practice regarding presenting multiple data sets and tailoring reports to the necessary audience
  • SAP-BI super user & support system integration projects such as BEX7 and SAP Business Objects
  • Support in the roll out of Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud reporting
  • Challenge & stress test data integrity to ensure quality provision of reporting at all times
  • Responsible for query writing using SQL to support ad-hoc and routine reporting requirements
  • Support data warehouse testing, development and deployment, ensuring minimal impact on reporting processes
  • Understanding and managing database security
  • Documentation of processes and procedures
  • Support the annual reporting cycle and compliance to all milestones

What you need is:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in finance, computer science, business or economics Experience in similar positions (0-3 years)
  • Good finance/business knowledge and acumen
  • Very strong MS-Excel and presentation skills
  • Solid SAP R3 and SAP-BI knowledge / Power BI desirable
  • Database skills (e.g. MS Access, SQL) of advantage
  • Good communication skills
  • Passionate about providing value added data to the business
