Description

This month's Women in Tech Breakfast, hosted by Jozihub in partnership with PinkCodrs Africa, will be profiling Memeza, a community policing alarm which pro-activates SAPS, supplies a direct link to community homes and schools while capturing valuable crime related information.

Thuli Mthethwa who is the founder, was motivated by being a repeat victim of crime. She left her job at the Department of Transport in March 2013 to focus on developing the Memeza Community Policing Alarms in collaboration with SAPS, working with The Innovation Hub, the Centre of Public Service Innovation and the department of Community Safety.
