Medscape, a division of WebMD, develops and hosts physician portals and related mobile applications that make it easier for physicians and healthcare professionals to access clinical reference sources, stay abreast of the latest clinical information, learn about new treatment options, earn continuing medical education credits and communicate with peers.

Job Title: Medscape Product Management Intern

In this role the intern will learn and apply the essential skills possessed by a product manager at a major digital publisher.  He or she will partner with experienced product managers on growing our global audience, improving registration and user preference workflows, and expanding product scale for Medscape, the Professional arm of WebMD.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide analysis to influence product strategic plan
  • Contribute to roadmapping exercises across the organization
  • Build relationships with members of key cross-functional departments including members of sales, development, marketing, editorial, and production
  • Pitch ideas to expand audience with a focus in key segments
  • Write up business requirements, use cases, and product specifications in agile user story format
