Places for People Living+ are looking for a Project Worker to join our young people scheme. Supporting customers you will provide individual care based on excellent customer service. This is a part time role based on 25 hours Monday - Friday.
What your role will be
As a Project Worker with Living+ you will be working as part of the established team at Salford Foyer ensuring that residents receive personalised guidance and support with their preparations for moving on to more independent housing.
You will work with the wider team to ensure all administration is up to date on a daily basis, including handover notes to the night workers and week-day project workers, communications systems and resident’s files/support plans is extremely important.
As part of the team, you will have a shared responsibility for the efficient running of the scheme, including responsibility for Health and Safety on the premises, residents, contractors and visitors with guidance from your line manager where necessary. In this role you will work closely with external bodies including referrals and next steps for our clients.

You will have experience working within a support type role in a supported scheme environment. Ideally you will have experience working with young parents and have knowledge and even training relating to safeguarding.
You will also have experience of support planning, carrying out risk assessments and be able to evidence at interview your commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Knowledge of welfare benefits and relevant legislation would is essential. In this role you will complete benefit calculations therefore a good level of maths is essential.You will use the Northgate system on a regular basis, we can support you with training however you will need a good understanding and competency of IT.
Finally, you will enjoy working as part of a team whilst being able to demonstrate what a successful ‘team player’ looks like and where you meet this. As you will be lone working at times, it is essential that you can work effectively and safely on your own using your own initiative with a wealth of internal established policies and procedures to support you.
