We are recruiting for highly driven science (STEM) students with an interest and drive to put their career on the right trajectory and connect with leaders in the cell industry. The Internship program will run from June 3rd – August 16 for a total of 10 – 12 weeks.

Join an exciting new industry at Hitachi Chemical Advanced Therapeutics Solutions, a PCT organization as a 2019 Summer Intern. The summer internship program within Hitachi will provides the college student with an opportunity to partner with senior management, project managers and supervisors who will provide the business projects, mentoring and coaching towards a success experience. You will have opportunities to meet other interns as well for collaboration. 

Selected students may work within cross-functional or teams while they partner with multiple clients and co-workers on a mission “to provide our clients with high value development and manufacturing services to advance commercialization of cellular therapies”.

Each intern will have an individual project or work assignment within one of several disciplines such as 
development, quality, operations, marketing or client experience. Through our summer internship program, interns develop an extensive professional network, learn how to work in a fast-paced environment where we are growing and implementing strategies, policies and business practices. You will gain hands-on skills and deliver a presentation showcasing your deliverable to senior leadership. 

The summer internship program is a great opportunity to gain exposure to the regenerative medicine industry in a CMO environment. We are entrepreneur in nature and agile for our customers. Some Projects/work may include: writing regulatory standards, evaluation of complex strategies, lab analysis, testing procedures.


  • The candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without limitations and require no sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status)
  • BS, MS student pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the 10 - 12 weeks period between June 3 – Aug 16 (flexible end date)
  • GPA minimum of 3.0
