AEHA is made up of environmental health professionals (public and private) who are concerned about the health of our environment and how that environment affects the citizens of the state of Alabama.

Currently our association boasts one of the highest percentages of participation of any National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) affiliate in the country and has over 220 active members.

DEADLINE: September 14, 2018 The Alabama Environmental Health Association ( AEHA ), Inc. presents a student award each year to a junior or senior undergraduate student in the Environmental Health or closely related field. This scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $1,000.00. This award will be presented at the Alabama Environmental Health Association’s annual meeting in October 2018. The award also includes an honorary membership to AEHA, Inc. for one year. How to Apply 1. Applicants must be a current junior or senior enrolled at a college or university in Alabama. 2. The attached application form is required in making application. This form is also available on our website, AEHA-online.com. 3. Provide a resume including all extra-curricular activities (community service, organization/club memberships, employment, etc.) 4. Include one (1) letter of recommendation from a college professor. 5. Include a current UNOFFICIAL transcript. 6. Include a statement (300 words or less) telling why you are pursuing a degree in Environmental Health or closely related field. 7. Incomplete packages will automatically disqualify your application.
