What you will bring to Cargill (REQUIRED) Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Law, Science or related field. We look for people who want to grow, support, think and produce.  Regulatory Intern: There is an internship opportunity for an individual to work with Cargill Industrial Specialties, a dynamic, high growth business focused on serving industrial (non-food) markets with bio based product.  This person will be participating in developing a regulatory infrastructure containing information that allows us to assess the risk associated with our products and to communicate that information internally and to customers.  The work environment is engaging and presents a great opportunity to learn about business processes, customers and products; while working closely with the North American and Global Regulatory Affairs Managers.  This position is an opportunity to use a technical background in a non-laboratory situation.  Principal Accountabilities : Gain immediate hands on experience at one of the world’s largest agribusiness companies committed to feeding the world in a responsible way. Development of risk assessments for raw material and products. Search databases to identify and gather information, upload into database in development.  Opportunity to learn more about chemical risk assessment, if interested. Restructure export information about products to simplify export management and reduce risk. Create database for products manufactured in non-US locations. Respond to customer requests for information. Opportunity interface with people in all aspects of our business (R&D, operations, commercial) and learn about product stewardship first hand.  Internship Programming: This internship will be 10-12 weeks in duration. Day–to-day transportation to and from work is the responsibility of the intern.   Required Qualifications: Currently pursuing a B.A., B.S., M.S. or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering OR four year science degree Experience with Excel spreadsheets or access databases Must be available to work in Plymouth, MN.
