We’d like to invite you to the  Girls Can Code - Insight Day for Women  at Sky. Achieving a better gender and ethnic balance is high on our list, so we’re investing in programmes to help us get there. So come along to spend a day at our headquarters in Osterley and find out about all the exciting things we do in our Software Engineering team.  You don’t have to hold a degree in Computer Science, all we’re looking for is passion for coding and aptitude to learn. Technology is at the heart of everything we do, which is why we’re serious about supporting the next generation of tech talent. We offer graduate opportunities in Software Development, Automation Testing and DevOps, plus a whole host of internship and Spring insight week opportunities for Women. You may not have thought about a career in software engineering, so let us open your eyes to all the amazing things we do here! Eligibility:  Undergraduate/graduate from any degree discipline Date:  26th November 2019 Timing:  09.30 to 16.00 approximately Where:  Sky, Grant Way, Osterley TW7 5QD What to expect:  Tech Taster Activities – get to develop an app using Agile methodologies Skills sessions – Application hints and tips session Networking – with graduates and representatives from software engineering team to hear first-hand about the opportunities in software engineering at Sky The deadline to apply is 19th November 2019.  Successful candidates will be notified by email on the 20th November. As we have an ongoing commitment to broadening the diversity of our business, we have a limited number of bursaries available. Our aim is to provide financial support to cover the travel needs of those that are in genuine need.
