We have a number of scholarships available for new self-funded, international (non-EU) fee paying students with excellent academic qualifications. The scholarships are available if you've applied for a relevant course. You must also start your studies from January 2020 for the MSc in Civil Engineering with Industry programme, or during the 2019-2020 academic year for your postgraduate research studies.  Value:  Up to £4,000 Opens:  1 September 2019 Deadline:  17 January 2020 Help with:  Tuition fees Duration:  One year Eligibility The scholarship is available for application to all self-funded, new international (non-EU) fee paying students holding an offer of study for the MSc in Civil Engineering with Industry, or for a postgraduate research programme.  You must start your full-time MSc in January 2020 or postgraduate research programme at Strathclyde this academic year (2019-2020).  Postgraduate Taught You'll need a minimum of a 2:1 (or equivalent) in your undergraduate degree to be considered. Important things to note The application process is now open. Completed application forms should be submitted as early as possible. You can only apply for a scholarship once you've applied for a place on a full-time course through the University of Strathclyde’s admission process and have been offered either a conditional or unconditional place. The Faculty of Engineering Excellence Scholarship is only eligible for new self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying students enrolling on a full-time course.  Please note that students who receive full sponsorship from a government office or embassy are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. Students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde. Students who do not meet any of the required criteria in this announcement will automatically not be considered. The Faculty of Engineering's decision on the awarding of scholarships is final. Further Information Key details Postgraduate Taught Postgraduate Taught MSc in Civil Engineering with Industry applicants will receive up to £3,000 towards course tuition fees. Postgraduate Research A number of scholarships of up to £4,000 towards course tuition fees for the first year of a full-time PhD are available. Eligible postgraduate research students will receive a further £1,500 scholarship for each subsequent year of study. To recognise academic excellence, The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Strathclyde is offering a number of scholarships to RUK students who are paying a tuition fee of £9,250 per year and achieve AAB or above at A Level (or equivalent) will receive £1,000 for their first year at Strathclyde. Number of scholarships:  Number varies every year. Value:  Up to £1,500 towards tuition fees.
