Duration:  3 months Hours : 10 - 15 per week Payment : Basic stipend of $100 per month after a 2 week trial period Location: UK based remote working  Gig Basics. Are you interested in STEM and gender issues? We need interns for a gender research community. We are looking for undergraduate students or recent graduates in any human or science research-related major and those who are interested in learning about user experience. Thematic analysis experience a plus. Some of our junior researchers were previous interns! What is the gig? The "Geeky Girl Reality" is a research study focused on learning the experiences of women in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). We are currently collecting data from two global surveys: students enrolled in STEM programs at a university and professional women amid a STEM career. Your role as a Research Intern for this project would be: - directly working with the research (for those who are able, to also gain university credit through a real world application of thematic analysis methods) - working with senior and junior researchers in USA, UK, and Hong Kong - assisting with social media - assisting with outreach to STEM organisations and university programs This is a remote, online role that will average 10 to 15 hours per week for 3 months - we use Skype, email and Google hangouts to communicate.
