Rural Education Access Programme

The Rural Education Access Programme (REAP) is a non-profit organisation, registered in 2001 with the aim of providing funding and guidance to deserving South African students from disadvantaged rural households, to pursue their tertiary education and thereby reduce rural poverty within the country.

REAP is headquartered in Cape Town, with regional offices in Durban and Johannesburg where 30 staff members are employed. Previously operating as the Catholic Education Assistance Programme (CEAP), REAP now provides assistance to students from all faiths and affiliations.
