Zendesk is looking for smart, creative software development interns who enjoy building great software to join us in our San Francisco office. As a Zendesk intern, your project will be a real feature that delights our 125,000+ customers, not wasting a summer away on miscellaneous bug fixes. You'll work closely with a mentor to ship production code during and by the end of your internship that is used by real customers every day. You'll learn to develop in a Ruby on Rails & JavaScript stack operating at high scale, and will be involved in all phases of the software lifecycle, from specification to design, coding, and deployment.  This internship will focus on building applications, enhancing your skills and giving you on-the job training to further develop your engineering knowledge.   Requirements: Pursuing a Computer Science or equivalent experience (preferably in your 2nd or 3rd year of college) A genuine passion for the web and new technologies Experience with Web application development using Ruby on Rails and/or Javascript Github projects a plus Must be authorized to work in the United States The best customer experiences are built with Zendesk.
