Summer intern will perform activities as directed by senior engineering staff in any one or more of the following areas Metallurgical analysis and sample preparation Chemical and physical characterization of non-metallic materials Mechanical / physical testing of materials Summer intern will also work as directed to perform required yearly ISO 9001 review and documentation updates Position Requirements: Candidate should possess: Excellent communication skills Must be adaptable to learning new technologies Familiarity with Microsoft Office products required Must be willing and able to perform hands-on testing and process development Must be self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision Light lifting up to 30 pounds Candidate ideally should be working on a degree in either Materials Engineering or Materials Science.
