SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: THIS IS A PAID INTERNSHIP POSITION for Summer 2020 AND potentially return for future semesters. Students who apply for this internship ideally would be available to work part time hours during the summer. Watchfire is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Responsibilities Assist R&D engineers with the following. May require working with other departments such as Service, Manufacturing, Quality, etc. to complete tasks. Design Prototyping Testing Manufacturing Support & Service Required Education/Qualifications Student enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering. ME, MET, EE, EET preferred. Would consider student enrolled in CE, Computer Engineering or Computer Science degree program. Must be enrolled full-time for the Spring or Fall 2020 semester, May 2020 graduates may be considered. Experience with CAD software, preferably Autodesk products (Inventor) Experience with Microsoft software, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Sharepoint Ability to work independently. Excellent written and communication skills. Able to work part time hours during the Summer Legal authorization to work in the US required. We will not consider candidates who need sponsorship, now or in the future, to be legally employed in the US. No H1B, OPT, CPT or other “temporary work authorization” candidates will be considered. Our interns are anticipated to work with us for the entire summer term, assuming quality work. Of course, all positions are "at will" and an internship is not a guarantee of work for a set period of time.
